Cultivate a highly-skilled and competent workforce that can deliver on the agility that is being demanded of our workforce today.
Did you catch our webinar on April 10th? Last week we had hundreds tune in to our incredibly insightful, thought-leading webinar, The Employee Experience: How to craft a best-in-class career experience across the talent lifecycle hosted by workforce transformationalist, Fuel50’s Anne Fulton. It was a fantastic session to kick off our new webinar series, filled with too many key takeaways to list. It’s best to watch for yourself.
In an ideal world, we would hire the perfect candidate who will then diligently work in their role for the next 10+ years, right? Wrong. Workforce needs are changing and we need to support workforce agility and adapt to a disrupted future of work.
As we learnt, only 55% of HR leaders are confident in their company’s ability to re-skill displaced workers (Mercer, Talent Trends 2018). In addition to that, only 9% of organizations were satisfied with the quality of talent in their leadership pipeline. Proof that there’s huge room for improvement to meet current demands.
From discussing your talent attraction strategy for recruitment to onboarding for fast-track productivity; from lateral moves increasing engagement to retention of high-value talent. A LOT was covered, with career pathing and development taking center stage.
Career pathing ensures an agile workforce that can be readily reshaped in response to evolving market conditions.
With this in mind, sometimes it’s only micro changes that are required to deliver macro impact on engagement. As discussed job sculpting can be instrumental in achieving this.
Anne and Tom posed some questions to really get you thinking:
But it doesn’t stop here, we also unpacked why having an alumni strategy isn’t something to brush over. Think offboarding, managing the employer brand and leveraging the power of alumni for know-how and referrals.
Missed our webinar? Don’t sweat it, we’ve got you covered.
